1. Put the R ustarrestor in a dry rusty fuel tank and turn the liquid around till the
rust is wett keep doing this now and then (regular) till the rust is gone
2. M ake the fuel tank empty, the R ustarrestor can be filtert for using again let the
tank dry for 24 h ou rs.
3. A fter that rinse it with solvent when you want to coat with EC tanksealer w hen
you don't use EC tanksealer, cleaning with petrol is possible
4. A fter drying from the solvent put the sealer in and turn the fuel tank around so
it's reaching every place inside the tank
5. E mpty what is in the fuel tank back in the can for a second time or another fuel
tank turn the tank upside down on a box or something to leak out it will dry
with humidity in 4 till 6 h ours a second coating need to be done after 2 4
h ours
6. A fter drying the tanks needs to dry for 3 days before filling it with petrol
Tip:
For not damaging the outside of the fuel tank wrap it in foil and close the fuel
opening with duct tape
When there is a
petrol filter inside the tank use air pressure to blow out the filter as
long as the sealer isn't dry
